Daniel Hong

Mr. Daniel Hong joined Tencent in 2016 and currently serves as Vice President of Tencent Fintech & Chief Executive of WeChat Pay HK. He oversees the international and cross-border businesses of Tencent Fintech, building upon Tencent's extensive experience in mobile payments and the unique advantages of Tencent's ecosystem. Mr. Hong also leads business analytics and strategic planning for Tencent Fintech, driving strategic partnerships with external financial and commercial institutions.

Prior to joining Tencent, Mr. Hong worked at Bain & Company and Accenture. He holds a bachelor's degree from Fudan University in Shanghai and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, combining a global perspective with deep insights into local market practices.
