      How SFF MeetUp Works

      Three booking windows: shortlist, get matched, review, then meet. Up to 20 meetings, timed around the keynotes.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      Which passes include SFF MeetUp?

      The Delegate, Startup and Executive passes include it, and so do group passes. You can also buy the MeetUp Pass on its own for SGD 380, which covers the exhibition too. Policy and Media pass holders can opt in, and a Trade Visitor Pass can be upgraded to include it.

      Can I bring a colleague or my team along?

      Meetings are one-to-one, so each person needs their own pass with SFF MeetUp and their own profile. Teams of three or more can save with Delegate group passes, from SGD 800 each, which include SFF MeetUp. Then split your shortlists so you cover more people between you.

      How many meetings will I get?

      Up to 20, each 15 minutes long. The more people you shortlist, the better your chances of being matched.

      I’m buying my pass now. Is it too late?

      No. You join whichever booking window is open, up to the final cut-off on 6 Nov at 3:00 PM SGT. Earlier is better, though. Diaries fill up, and last year people who joined in the final week got fewer meetings.

      When and where do the meetings happen?

      Every afternoon of the Festival, in the MeetUp lounges in Hall 4B and Hall 5A. Meetings run from 12:30 to 5:05 PM on 18 and 19 Nov and from 12:30 to 4:25 PM on 20 Nov. Your schedule shows the lounge, table and time for each one. Get there 5 minutes early, and download the mobile app for reminders.

      Can I choose when my meetings happen?

      Cross out the times you can’t make under Planner > Time Availability on the MeetUp platform. Leave as much open as you can, because a meeting only goes into a slot you’ve both kept free.

      Can I turn down a meeting?

      Yes. After each set of match results you have a few days to review your schedule and cancel anything that doesn’t fit. You won’t be matched with that person again.

      Can I shortlist a company instead of a person?

      Only people get matched. You can save a company for your own reference, but it won’t lead to a meeting.

      I have a pass. Where’s my platform invite?

      Check your junk folder. If it isn’t there either, your company’s email server may be blocking it, so write to meetup@sgfintechfest.co and we’ll send a direct login link.
