Mr. Chen has deep expertise in financial payment-related information system development, fintech innovation, and R&D and IT operations management. In recent years he has been leading various key initiatives, including the development of the Cross-Border Interconnection Payment Gateway (CPG), the cloud migration and upgrade of UnionPay's core system architecture, data services used for government initiatives to boost consumption, and the ongoing experimentation with AI applications. He has received the People's Bank of China Fintech Development Award on multiple occasions, among other honors.
