Anuj Khosla

Anuj Khosla is Chief Executive Officer – Digital Business at Hitachi Payment Services. He has over 25 years of experience across financial services including Merchant Acquiring & Cards Business, Retail & Institutional Banking, Institutional Sales & Merchant Partnerships, New Product & Market Development, Retail Banking Strategy, Emerging Payments & Mobile Payments. At Hitachi Payment Services, Anuj is responsible for the Digital Business, driving digital strategy and P&L growth. He has been instrumental in scaling the Digital Business, identifying new growth opportunities, forging strategic partnerships and leveraging emerging technologies to create differentiated customer and business value.

Before joining Hitachi Payment Services, he was Chief Operating Officer (Shareholder Nominee) at SBI Payments, a joint venture between SBI and Hitachi Payment Services. At SBI Payments, he played a pivotal role in defining and building the Business Development, Technology, Risk, Product Strategy, Portfolio & Partnerships. Prior to SBI Payments, he was Country Head – India for UnionPay International and was responsible for setting up and growing UnionPay’s business in India. He has also held senior level positions at Visa, India & Singapore where he was Regional Director – Acceptance, India and South Asia and was a core member of Visa’s South Asia leadership team and at Axis Bank Ltd., where he was Vice President & Country Head – Merchant Services. At Axis Bank he set up the merchant acceptance business for the Bank and in a span of less than 4.5 years built India’s largest acquiring franchise. A well-known industry veteran in the cards fraternity, Anuj has worked & delivered across diverse markets in Asia Pacific, Middle East & North Africa and managed cross-cultural teams.
