Yan Pan

Mr. Pan Yan has over 20 years of experience in the financial technology industry. He began his career at Sopra Banking Software, a global leader in banking software headquartered in Paris. During his 13-year tenure with the company, his roles evolved from professional services to pre-sales, and ultimately to business development.
From 2009 to 2018, Mr. Pan served as Country Manager for Sopra Banking Software China, where he was responsible for overall business development, solution delivery, and customer services. He successfully built the China office from the ground up and led its growth from zero to multi-million-dollar annual revenues.
In 2018, Mr. Pan joined Ant Group, where he has been responsible for several key markets in South and Southeast Asia, including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Bangladesh. He currently leads the Strategic Partnership Office of Alipay+, overseeing cross-border payment and digitalization services that connect 100 million global merchants with 1.8 billions of digital payment consumers worldwide.
Under his leadership, his team has developed and expanded partnerships with global mobile payment platforms, enabling partners—including leading e-wallets and banking apps—to integrate cross-border payment capabilities via Alipay+, and to advance their transformation into financial Super Apps through Alipay+’s wallet technology suite.
