Ashraf Safdar

Ashraf Safdar is an ASEAN Cross Industry Leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS). His two-decade career spans financial services and technology. Over the course of a varied career at UBS, HSBC and IHS Markit (now S&P Global), Ashraf has led investment strategy, business transformation, regional product strategy, as well as consulting engagements. He is frequent speaker on emerging technologies (e.g. Financial Times Panelist on Generative AI), hosted nationally televised current affair programs, and co-created an Emmy-nominated TV series. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, King’s College London and the University of Chicago.
