Dr. Chin Shin Liang

Dr. Shin holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge and began his career in the UK's manufacturing sector at the forefront of the Industry 4.0 —where his journey into AI first took shape. Today, he leads AI initiatives within Mastercard’s digital incubator, helping clients adopt and scale AI capabilities.

Previously, he served as a Director at EY, where he led a team of over 80 AI and data engineers, deploying production-grade Generative AI solutions across industries including oil & gas, financial services, and the public sector.

With more than a decade of experience delivering AI and data science solutions, Dr. Shin brings deep expertise in AI strategy, governance frameworks, operating models, and enterprise-scale implementation for multinational organizations.

He believes that AI is not just about technology. It’s about transforming the way organizations work and unlocking new possibilities for the future.
