Tan Bin Ru

Tan Bin Ru is a Singapore business leader with over two decades of experience leading business growth, digital transformation, and technology innovation across multinational corporations, listed companies, and high-growth technology ventures. She has built and scaled businesses across Asia Pacific, with deep expertise in healthcare, financial services, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and emerging technologies.

Bin Ru currently serves as President, Enterprise Digital at ST Engineering, where she leads the growth and transformation of the company's digital business across healthcare, financial services, cyber, data, AI, quantum technologies, and smart city solutions. She is responsible for driving strategic partnerships, innovation, market expansion, and the commercialization of technology solutions that address complex industry challenges.

Prior to ST Engineering, she served as Chief Executive Officer (International) of OneConnect Financial Technology, a subsidiary of Ping An Group, one of the world's largest financial services institutions. In this role, she led the international expansion of digital banking, insurtech, and healthtech platforms across multiple markets and established strategic partnerships with financial institutions, governments, and ecosystem players.

Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership positions with Microsoft and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where she led regional sales, business development, transformation programs, and market expansion initiatives across Asia.

A recognized industry leader, she is a frequent speaker at regional technology, healthcare, and fintech forums and has been named among Singapore's Top 5 Women in FinTech and Top 50 Asia FinTech Leaders for her contributions to innovation, ecosystem building, and the advancement of technology entrepreneurship.

Bin Ru currently serves on the boards of SATA CommHealth and Singapore Pools Pte Ltd, where she contributes expertise in digital innovation and technology governance. She also served as Chairwoman of the Blockchain Association Singapore (2022 to 2026). In this capacity, she worked closely with industry leaders, regulators, technology companies, and start-ups to promote responsible innovation, strengthen industry collaboration, and support Singapore's position as a leading digital economy and fintech hub.

She holds a degree in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
