Markus Hablizel is Head of DB1 Ventures at Deutsche Börse Group. He directs the strategy, management and growth of a venture portfolio of currently 24 investments with a €400m initial commitment, and he serves on the boards of key portfolio companies. During his professional career, Markus has led a multitude of transactions including a $200m investment in the cryptocurrency platform Kraken or the $660m exit of DB1 Ventures' stake in secondary marketplace Forge to Charles Schwab.
