Himal Makwana

Himal Makwana is Head of Corporate Strategy at FIS, a Fortune 500 financial technology leader. Working closely with the CEO and board, Himal leads corporate strategy, firmwide AI strategy, enterprise portfolio management governing over $1B in annual R&D investment, and a new Enterprise Data Product function built on one of the industry's most comprehensive financial data sets spanning banking, payments, and issuing. He also oversees FIS Ventures, the company's strategic investment arm.

Prior to his strategy roles, Himal served as Global eCommerce CFO at Worldpay and has been a leader across some of the most transformative transactions in the payments sector — Worldpay's £4.8B IPO (2015), the $10.4B Vantiv merger (2017), the $43B sale to FIS (2019), and the $13.5B Issuer Solutions acquisition (2025).
