Leong Yung Chee

Leong Yung Chee is Group Chief Financial Officer of UOB, where he oversees the Bank's Finance, Treasury, Data Management and Innovation functions. In his role, he steers UOB's financial strategy in support of the Bank's business transformation and innovation efforts across the Group. Working closely with business, technology and innovation teams, he helps to drive the use of data, AI and emerging technologies to enhance decision-making, improve productivity and strengthen the Bank's operating model. Prior to his appointment as Group CFO in 2025, he was Head of Group Corporate Banking. With more than 25 years of experience in financial services, Yung Chee brings unique perspectives on how financial institutions can adapt and thrive in an increasingly AI-enabled world.
