Shariq Plasticwala

Shariq is a Director at Emerging Payments, Amazon. He leads teams in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Turkey and South Africa to build payments and credit services for Amazon customers and merchants. Prior to that, he was a part of the founding team at Amazon & CEO of Amazon India's first JV in India. He has founded 2 companies - one in healthcare focused on improving patient care by upgrading hospitals and another in education offering performing arts classes. He is a graduate of IIT Bombay and holds a MBA from Stanford, GSB.
