Chyi is the forefront of driving policy and development initiatives aimed at fostering innovation in the Malaysian capital market, focusing on cutting-edge innovations such as digital assets, blockchain and tokenisation use cases.

Her multidisciplinary team runs innovation engagement programs and innovation facilitation hub including regulatory sandbox, dedicated to incubating, engaging, and facilitating the entry of new business models into the market.

A trained economist and engineer with strong analytical background, she has gained in-depth market insights from working at financial institutions and public sector consulting across Asia Pacific. Chyi has a bachelor's degree in innovation engineering in the University of Tokyo, and a joint master’s in economics from Autonomous University of Barcelona and University Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne.
