Dr. Andreas Deppeler

Andreas Deppeler is a Co-Director of the Fintech Impact Lab and a Professor of Practice at Monash University Malaysia. His research areas include decentralized finance, financial inclusion, and the governance of emerging technologies. He has previously taught at NUS Business School in Singapore. Before returning to academia, he gained nearly two decades of experience in management consulting, banking, and technology across Europe, the United States, and Asia. Andreas holds an MSc in theoretical physics from ETH Zürich and a PhD in theoretical physics from Rutgers University. He is a CFA Charterholder.
