Garry Sien

Garry Sien leads the International Innovation and Solutions Department for Ant Digital Technologies, and is an International Technologist with extensive experience in Fintech, Cloud and AI-driven digital transformation.

Based in Hong Kong, Garry is dedicated to strengthening Ant Digital Technologies’ mission of Enabling Global Business to Make Trust Simple. He drives this vision by leveraging Ant Digital Technologies’ financial-grade portfolio of advanced enterprise AI, blockchain, and fintech solutions. Garry leads the innovation and go-to-market strategy for international markets, while continuously building and enabling industry ecosystems in collaboration with clients and partners.

Garry currently serves as a Founding Council Member of the Strategic AI Advisory Council for the Fintech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK). He is also a member of the Executive Committee for Fintech at the Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS), and for the Finance Industry at the Greater Bay Area 5G Industry Alliance. Previously, he co-chaired the Cloud and Cybersecurity Committee at FTAHK. Garry is passionate about promoting the adoption of emerging and advanced technologies across the global business community.

Before joining Ant Group, Garry served as the Chief Solutions Architect for Global Financial Services at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence and earlier as the Head of Technology for ANZ China. Over the past decade, he has worked across the Asia-Pacific region in a variety of leadership roles spanning business and technology functions. These include strategy and architecture, digital transformation, business analysis, application and infrastructure support, user experience design, and information security and risk assurance.
