Dr. Emir Hrnjic

Emir HRNJIC is the Academic Director of the UCLA-NUS EMBA at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School, FinTech Training Advisor at the Asian Institute of Digital Finance (AIDF), and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance at the National University of Singapore.

Emir's case studies have been used at more than 100 universities worldwide, including Harvard, Stanford, Oxford, and many others.

Emir frequently receives invitations to speak on television and radio. He regularly provides expert commentary and thought leadership articles in the business press and speaks at industry and academic forums.

He has been involved in several consulting projects, including those related to blockchain and digital currencies, as well as litigation consulting.

Born in Bosnia and a citizen of Singapore, Emir obtained a Ph.D. in Finance from Tulane University in 2005 and has held faculty positions at Tulane University, Virginia Tech University, and the National University of Singapore. He also served as CEO of BILIF -- the training arm of the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank.
