Samantha Horton

Samantha Horton is the Chief Operating Officer and Head of International business at Syfe, Asia’s leading digital wealth management platform with a mission to empower people to build their wealth for a better future.

She led Syfe’s landmark 2025 acquisition of ASX-listed Selfwealth - the largest fintech deal of the year to date - which established Syfe as the first Singapore-based digital wealth platform to enter Australia.

Since joining Syfe, Samantha has been instrumental in scaling the business to well over US$10 billion in assets under management and nearly half a million investors. Today, Syfe operates across Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia, serves customers from more than 60 countries and is backed by leading global investors including Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures, Unbound and DST.

Samantha brings more than 15 years of institutional investment experience to Syfe. She began her career in equity research at Morgan Stanley before joining Broad Peak Investment Advisors, a multi-billion-dollar Singapore-based hedge fund. Rising to Managing Director, she managed a global consumer portfolio of more than US$500 million, while as co-head of analytics, she led the drive into alternative data to improve investing outcomes, where Broad Peak was an early adopter and innovator across Asia.

Outside of work, Samantha is an avid fitness fanatic and has won multiple Hyrox mixed doubles championships over the last couple of years.
