Elian Ciptono

Elian Ciptono is the Head of Southeast Asia Expansion for Wise, a global technology company building the best way to move and manage the world's money. In his role, he is responsible for leading Wise's
expansion in Southeast Asia and overseeing the group of country
managers across its six major markets in the region. Elian was
instrumental in spearheading the end-to-end entry and establishment of
Wise's businesses in both Indonesia and the Philippines, and holds a
Directorship for both entities. His current focus includes developing new
expansion opportunities and strengthening critical banking relationships
in Singapore.

Prior to joining Wise, Elian spent six years as a Regional Economist at
Bank Indonesia, where he specialized in macroeconomic analysis and
provided policy recommendations to regional governments. His career
also includes experience as a Corporate Strategist at the Jakarta-based
technology unicorn, Traveloka, and as an Analytics Consultant at Nielsen
IQ. Elian holds an MBA from HEC Paris.
