Ignite - National Technology Fund is a not-for-profit company under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Pakistan. Its mandate is to drive the growth of Pakistan’s digital economy by fostering innovation, research and technology-led entrepreneurship.
Ignite works across the full innovation pipeline. It funds research and development projects, supports startups and tech companies through grants and investment-readiness programs, and builds digital skills among the country’s youth, freelancers and professionals. Through its National Incubation Centers across multiple cities, Ignite gives early-stage founders mentorship, workspace, industry linkages and access to capital, helping ideas grow into scalable, job-creating businesses.
Its training initiatives, including large-scale digital skills and freelancing programs, aim to prepare a future-ready workforce and expand Pakistan’s IT and IT-enabled services exports.
