Scott Lucas

Scott is Head of Digital Assets – Wholesale at Barclay. He is responsible for shaping and delivering the bank’s wholesale Digital Assets strategy across stablecoins, tokenised deposits, digital securities and market infrastructure. He is passionate about building and scaling innovative digital asset solutions that bridge traditional markets with new technologies.

Prior to joining Barclays, Scott was Head of Markets Digital Assets at JPMorgan, where he led the strategy and execution of trading products built on distributed ledger technology and blockchain technologies.

Before this, he served for 13 years as an infantry officer in the Australian and British armies, including tours of East Timor, Northern Ireland and Iraq. Scott has a BA in International Relations from Deakin University, and an MBA from Cambridge.
