Shinichiro Nishikawa

Shinichiro Nishikawa’s career has been dedicated to the Payment industry for over 28 years. Starting as a Project Leader in Planning for e-commerce services, he has consistently demonstrated industry expertise and strategic leadership qualities. In November 2001, he joined NTT DATA Corporation, showcasing his skills as a Project Manager in the Card and Payment Services Division. Nishikawa played a pivotal role in planning and developing a Payment Gateway for e-commerce and promoting 3D Secure in Japan in collaboration with VISA/MasterCard. Following that, Nishikawa moved to the Global expansion team within the same division in March 2012. Nishikawa began his tenure at VietUnion Online Services Corporation in Vietnam in October 2014 as a Senior Director. In July 2018, his responsibilities expanded to Malaysia and India. From June 2021, he took the helm as the Head of the Global Payment & Service Division, committing to further expansion strategies. Nishikawa’s career is a testament to his extensive experience and leadership qualities, with emphasis on his global perspective and deep local knowledge. He continues to leverage his international business acumen to drive growth and innovation at NTT DATA.
