Kabir Narang

Kabir Narang is a technology investor and entrepreneur with over two decades of global investing experience. He has founded two international tech platforms — Compounding Capital and B Capital — and has built his career around backing category-defining technology companies from early stage through pre-IPO.

A lifelong believer in compounding — of ideas, relationships, and capital — Kabir launched Compounding Capital, initially with personal capital and then over next 12 months and beyond to bridge long-term global pools of capital with the world’s most exceptional entrepreneurs and consequential industry defining companies.

Previously, Kabir was Founding General Partner at B Capital Group, a global growth-stage investment firm with more than $8 billion in assets under management. He served as the first Chair of B Capital’s Global Growth Investment Committee and helped build the organization from inception into a multi-stage global franchise.

Before B Capital, Kabir was a Partner & Managing Director at Eight Roads Ventures, Fidelity’s venture capital investment arm, where he led investments in technology and financial services and sat on the boards of Icertis, Toppr, IFMR Capital (now Northern Arc), and ShadowFax. He was a member of the Regional Partnership that evaluated opportunities across Asia, including China and Japan.

Kabir began his investing career with Warburg Pincus where he was involved in investments and portfolio management for companies such as Max India, Max Healthcare, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.

Before his career in investing, he spent time in management consulting — at McKinsey & Company in India and the Boston Consulting Group in the United States, where he was a Project Leader in the Washington, D.C. office. His consulting work focused on technology and financial services strategy and operations.

Kabir holds an M.B.A. from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. Beyond investing, Kabir is a passionate photographer whose work reflects his curiosity for patterns, light, and human connection — values that mirror his investing philosophy of finding clarity in complexity. He divides his time between Singapore, India, and the US, and continues to mentor founders and emerging investors who share his belief in long-term compounding.
