Matthew is currently executive vice president and head of services for Mastercard in Asia Pacific responsible for the development and management of Mastercard’s services portfolio.

Matthew joined Mastercard in 2002 as he graduated from Columbia and London Business Schools. He has held roles of increasing seniority with in London, New York and Singapore including chief client officer – Citibank; Head of global products and solutions for Asia Pacific; and division president of Southeast Asia. Before joining Mastercard, Matthew enjoyed a career in consulting, financial services and analytics.

Matthew has represented Mastercard at the World Economic Forum East Asia, the G20’s GPFI Plenary, various ASEAN forums as well as with various media organizations including Bloomberg,
CNA, CNBC, MSNBC and the BBC Worldwide.

Matthew was also recognized as the UN HeForShe executive leader of the year for Singapore in 2016. In 2021 and 2022 he was also recognized by House of Rose as one of 101 Break the ceiling touch the sky® Male Champions for supporting gender diversity.
