Brian Lim is the MD and APAC GM of Primer AI. Primer is a SF-based AI company focusing on the use of Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies to help augment human intelligence and solve business problems involving large amounts of text data. He has been a SFF Pay It Forward mentor in 2022 as well.

Prior to Primer, Brian was SVP and Head of GIC Labs, the in-house innovation labs of GIC, the Singapore sovereign wealth fund, where he led a team in research, prototyping and evaluation of emerging technologies for solving business challenges in GIC. Prior to GIC, he held multiple roles in Citi, Standard Chartered and the Singapore Ministry of Finance.

Brian holds a Master of Science in Computation for Design and Optimization from MIT and a Master of Science in Computational Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
