Ms Michi Chan

Michi Chan is a seasoned professional in governance, risk, and compliance, having previously served as a Director at Deloitte. During her 10-year tenure at Deloitte, she worked extensively with major banking institutions such as the ANZ Bank, AMP, Commonwealth Bank, Macquarie and National Australia Bank. In these roles, Michi was deeply involved in assessing the design and operating effectiveness of risk and compliance frameworks and controls as part of internal audit processes, applying various assurance standards. Her work focused on ensuring these banking institutions adhered to enforceable undertakings and operated within robust assurance frameworks, addressing gaps, and strengthening control environments to maintain a high standard of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and operational integrity. In her current role at crypto.com, Michi oversees licensing, regulatory and financial crime compliance for the APAC region. Michi holds an MBA and has over 25 years of financial services experience.
