Mr Jatin Mamtani

As Global Head for Strategic Investments at Citi’s TTS (Treasury and Trade Solutions) business, I lead and execute principal investments in fintech companies that are strategically important for growth and innovation. I have a proven track record of closing several diverse deals ranging from $2M to $200M, in areas such as payments, trade finance, embedded finance, digital lending, SME financing, and financial markets. Prior to Citi, I worked at Standard Chartered, Barclays Capital, McKinsey, and Lehman Brothers, where I gained 15+ years of strategy, investing, and M&A transformation and financial services experience across Asia. I have strong skill sets in deal sourcing, constructing internal strategies and deal thesis, negotiating and executing competitive deals, venture fundraising, and stakeholder management. I am an alumnus of IIT Bombay and IIM Ahmedabad, the top Indian schools for engineering and management respectively. I am passionate about fintech and its potential to transform the financial industry and create social impact.
