Mr Alessio Basso

Alessio leads the AWS technology team supporting DNB customers. He works with ASEAN's unicorns to build highly scalable & innovative services – to fulfil their vision and purpose to “jointly raise the standards of living for the ASEAN community and beyond”. He champions the use of Amazon’s innovation mechanisms to shape products, services and experiences that delight customers. Alessio specialize in Payments and Fintech. Prior to AWS, he worked for banks across Central America, Africa, and Asia, delivering online and mobile banking, wealth management, and retail payments products. Most recently, he was the Chief Architect and CTO of HSBC’s PayMe, Hong Kong’s leading Digital Wallet.
