Baurzhan Kankin

Mr. Baurzhan Kankin began his career in audit and financial services, holding roles at Deloitte, Temirbank, and Union Bancaire Privee – building a strong foundation in financial modelling, compliance, and portfolio management.
He has held several high-profile roles. As CEO of ACF PIT Tech Garden, he oversaw the delivery of more than 200 industrial projects valued at $100 million. Prior to that, he served as CEO of JSC SEC “Shymkent“, managing a substantial asset portfolio and attracting nearly $2 billion in investment. His experience also includes serving as Deputy CEO of JSC SEC “Astana“, where he led the structuring of major public-private partnerships and investment initiatives. Holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Suleyman Demirel University.
