Rupert Schaefer, is Chief Executive Director of Strategy, Policy and Control at the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) since 2022.
Before joining BaFin, he worked for the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (EidgenĂśssische Finanzmarktaufsicht â FINMA), where he was Member of the Executive Board from 2015 onwards.
