Abdulrahman Hesham Al Sowaidi

Mr. Abdulrahman bin Hesham Al-Sowaidi, CEO of Qatar Development Bank (QDB), also chairs "Elan" Qatar and the Qatar Business Incubation Center "QBIC", and serves on several boards including Qatar Fund for Development "QFFD", "Manateq", and "QTech". He contributes to national initiatives such as Qatar’s Cultural and Creative Industries Strategy and the World Economic Forum’s “Skills Acceleration.” Formerly QDB’s Executive Director of Strategy and Business Development, Al-Sowaidi began his career in telecommunications and holds degrees from the University of Bradford and Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
