Markus Prommik is the CEO and Co-Founder of Finfra, a lending infrastructure platform that enables lenders and companies to launch their own credit products in Indonesia. After studying at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and the City University of Hong Kong, Markus's entrepreneurial journey began while traveling across Southeast Asia in 2015. There, he recognized the significant untapped potential of the underbanked region.
In 2016, at the age of 22, he relocated to Singapore and later to Jakarta, Indonesia, where he founded Danabijak, an unsecured credit provider focused on expanding credit access for individuals and SMEs. Markus scaled Danabijak to over $8M in annualized revenue, but as COVID-19 reshaped the market landscape, he saw new possibilities for improving access to credit. This vision led him to launch Finfra in 2022, where he continues to focus on expanding sustainable financing options across the region. Markus lives and works in Jakarta, Indonesia.
