Alexandre Chade

Founder and Chairman

Dotz

Alexandre Chade is a Brazilian business and social entrepreneur known for impact investing, dealmaking, and complex negotiations. Over nearly three decades he has founded, scaled, and exited companies across telecom, media and entertainment, real estate, marketing, and technology — leading M&A and corporate and family restructurings involving major Brazilian groups such as Cosan, Ultra, Lacta, and Beach Park through his investment firm, Ascet. He has taken two companies public in the span of a decade: a listed real estate developer in 2007 and, most recently, Dotz — the fintech he founded. Today he is Founder, Controlling Shareholder, and Executive Chairman of Dotz (B3: DOTZ3), Brazil’s largest financial and economic inclusion platform, serving 53 million members with rewards, payments, credit, and techfin products built on proprietary data and technology. Dotz counts Ant Group — the world’s largest fintech, part of the Alibaba ecosystem — as a strategic shareholder and partner, alongside investors including SoftBank, Farallon Capital, Velt, and Fourth Sail.

A dedicated social entrepreneur, Chade is President of the Brazilian chapter and a global board member of the Abraham Path Initiative (“Caminho da Paz”), the peace-building organization founded by Harvard negotiation scholar William Ury, and has served on the boards of philanthropic institutions and hospitals, including Hospital Sírio-Libanês. His work over the past decade has centered on advancing financial and economic inclusion through technology — the thread that connects his ventures and his philanthropy. He holds bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in law from the University of São Paulo and a business degree from FGV, with executive and graduate studies at Harvard, MIT, and Paris (Panthéon-Assas).
