David Tan

David Tan is the Chief Data Officer at Income Insurance. As an executive leader, he designs and leads the data, analytics and AI capability development across the organization. He focuses on driving partnerships with cross-functional leaders and executives to leverage data, analytics and AI to achieve digital transformation, business growth and efficiency.

David is an experienced technology strategist having led successful transformations in the banking and insurance industry across Asia-Pac. He has built and led enterprise teams across Data & Analytics COEs, Risk Management, Marketing and Operations to drive digital, data and AI capability transformations. David was awarded CIO/CDO of the Year 2024 by IDC Asia Pacific Research in recognition of his leadership impact.

David has worked and lived in multiple countries across the Asia Pacific region, bridging diverse cultures and markets to deliver innovation and growth. He holds a multidisciplinary academic background spanning technology, finance, and neuroscience.
