IOSCO C8 Chair - Director, Financial Education Expertise and Partnerships, Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
Camille Beaudoin is a recognized leader in financial education with a Master’s degree in Consumer Sciences/Sociology of household financial behavior. He started his career as a research professional, working with organizations such as Laval University in Quebec City, Canada, and later as a marketing strategy advisor at Desjardins Group.
Mr. Beaudoin's extensive experience led him to the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF Quebec) in 2006, where he became Director of Financial Education. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in creating the Quebec Financial Education Experts Network, the AMF Quebec Financial Literacy Index, and the Quebec Financial Education National Strategy. His contributions were publicly recognized by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in 2016.
Since 2024, Mr. Beaudoin has been Director of Financial Education Expertise and Partnerships at the AMF Quebec, managing the Strategic Financial Education, Outreach and Research Partnerships Program. He has been a very active participant in the IOSCO Retail Investors Committee (Committee 8) since 2013 and was elected as its Chair in December 2024.
