Simran Singh leads the AI Lab at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), where she oversees the FCA’s regulatory experimentation work. Through initiatives such as the AI Spotlight and the Supercharged Sandbox, she is helping shape a practical and collaborative approach to responsible AI experimentation and early-stage model testing.
Simran brings cross-disciplinary experience spanning AI research, strategic foresight, and international policy and has delivered high-impact TechSprints on topics including market abuse detection, greenwashing, and financial inclusion. Her work focuses on creating regulatory approaches that are informed by hands-on experimentation, global engagement, and the evolving capabilities of emerging technologies.
