Her 33-year career as a trader and manager in finance has developed in leading Italian banks, specializing in international markets in the in-depth study of global geopolitical dynamics and related economic-financial correlations, holding operational and managerial roles in the parent companies of Gruppo Intesa, Unicredit and Credem. In 2016 he founded Global Thinking Foundation in Italy and France. In her International Relations activities with IMF and OECD, she has combined her commitment on Womenomics with teaching on Financial Education and Gender Advocacy since 1997. Former Member of the Expert Council of the VI Finance Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, she was Chairman of the Board of Education of ACI FX International from 2012 to 2015, now Honorary Member. A Founding Member of ASSIOM FOREX – former Vice-President of ASSIOM and active in the Association since 1993 – she served as ASSIOM FOREX Secretary General from 2009 to 2016 and currently holds the position of Editor-in-Chief of Publications since 2006 and Member of the Board of Directors and Presidency.

Claudia Segre is a leading figure in sustainable finance and fintech. Vice president of AssoFintech and member of the ASSIOM FOREX Board, and formerly of the Board of the Forum for Sustainable Finance. He is also currently a member of the Technical Scientific Committee of Terre des Hommes Italia and the portal against inequality LUCE!, as well as an external member of the Equal Opportunities Commission of the Accademia dei Lincei.

She is also a member of the Advisory Body of the Guarantor for the Protection of Victims of Crime of the Lombardy Region and of the Technical Scientific Committee of the Observatory on the Phenomenon of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence at the Department of Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council.

She was named by Forbes as one of the Top 100 Successful Italian Women in 2019 and is among GCPIT India’s Top 100 Gobal Women in Leadership in 2021.

She is co-author of the book “The Italy of Autonomies. At the test of COVID-19” and the Publishers: “Financial Inclusion: The importance of financial literacy and the promotion of better labor market outcomes for women and youth” for T6/G20 2021 and “The Financial Wellbeing Index: ‘Women Squared’ and the relevant impact measurement” for ISPCAN 2021

TEDx speaker: in 2021 in Riesi on the topic “Islands to New Frontiers” and in 2023 in Cagliari on the topic “Human Capital”.

She is Co-Chair of Women7 Italy 2024, the official civic engagement group of the G7 summit.
