Shweta is the President & CEO of the Startup Policy Forum, India’s leading alliance of new-age companies representing over $90 billion in valuation. With a career spanning 25+ years across public policy, venture capital, and journalism, she has continually redefined her path- moving from the newsroom to boardrooms, and now to the front-lines of India’s innovation economy.

Before stepping into policy and ecosystem leadership, Shweta was an award-winning journalist celebrated for her coverage of India’s economic reforms and global summits like the G20, IMF, and Davos. A recipient of the Ramnath Goenka Award, the British Chevening Scholarship, and the US State Department’s IVLP Fellowship, she brings both depth and dynamism to every role she takes on.
