      Nilanjan Ray, MBA, is Head of Trade Finance Solutions at ADI Foundation in Abu Dhabi, where he works on Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization. He brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial banking, trade finance and supply chain finance, with roles at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), RBC and FIMBank. He has structured trade finance, run commercial banking divisions and grown portfolios from tens of millions to hundreds of millions, managing credit through the Global Financial Crisis, COVID and commodity downturns.

      At ADI Foundation he brings institutional-grade credit structuring, risk frameworks and financing architecture to blockchain-native ecosystems, focusing on structuring receivables, trade flows and marine assets as tokenizable collateral. He works with regulatory fluency across the UAE (ADGM, CBUAE), the EU and Canada.
