Baskar Subramanian is the CEO of Vaultura, a Singapore-based financial infrastructure group that builds and scales regulated payment and settlement businesses. In 2014 he co-founded Mobi, a cross-border payment infrastructure partner that helps businesses access and operate in high-growth Asian markets through a single platform. He later founded Canis, a stablecoin-powered settlement rail that moves funds across borders on a fiat-in, fiat-out model for treasury, trading and fintech teams. Together, the two businesses give companies one connected infrastructure for payment access and settlement.
Before Mobi, Baskar held senior regional roles at global industrial companies including IMI plc, Flowserve and Emerson, managing large construction and oil and gas portfolios across Southeast Asia and the wider region. That background in operations, regulation and multi-country teams shapes his view that compliance is what allows payment infrastructure to scale.
