Alex Sim

Mr. Alex Sim is Chief Operating Officer of UOB Private Bank. He oversees UOB Private Bank’s operations, including digital strategy implementation, process improvements and client fulfilment.

A member of the UOB Private Bank Executive Committee, Alex also has primary oversight of risk and regulatory management and is responsible for risk governance and control processes for UOB Private Bank.

Prior to joining UOB Private Bank in 2014, Alex held management positions in risk management, risk controls and process excellence at three international financial institutions. He started his career more than 25 years ago at a leading accounting firm and took on a consultant role at an international consulting firm for five years.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia and is an active Lean Six Sigma practitioner (Green Belt).
