Rachael Kao currently serves as the President at CTBC Financial Holding Co. Responsibilities include overseeing the management of the company, strengthening the synergy and cross-selling among subsidiaries, assisting in business development, and implementing corporate sustainability.
Previously, Rachael Kao served as a key executive overseeing operational management within the group. She was appointed Chief Financial Officer of CTBC Financial Holding Co., and later became Chief Administrative Officer at Tokyo Star Bank, CTBC Bank’s subsidiary in Japan. In that role, she led organizational restructuring and talent optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. She subsequently served as Chief of Staff at CTBC Financial Holding Co., assisting the President in coordinating the operations of various business and functional units.
Received MBA degree from Baruch College, City University Of New York (CUNY).
Currently appointed as the Chair of PCAF (Partnership for Carbon Accounting and Financials) Asia-Pacific region, facilitating the promotion of sustainable initiatives.
