Global Head of Digital Assets, Oliver Wyman

Ugur Koyluoglu is a Partner with Oliver Wyman, based in New York. He is currently Vice Chairman for Financial Services, leading content development, and his responsibilities include being the Global Head of Digital Assets.
 
As the Global Head of Digital Assets, Ugur leads the firm’s offerings to traditional finance players, crypto-native firms, investors, public policy makers and regulators. His recent client work topics include regulation of crypto-assets, digital asset risk management, designing stablecoin strategies, CBDCs, tokenization, comparative analysis of over 150 distributed ledger technologies, scalable blockchain solutions for Financial Services, and insurance product design for Web3.
 
Ugur has been contributing significantly to industry debates in Digital Assets. Just in the past year, he led industry roundtables in the US, Europe, Middle East and APR on Future of Digital Money, and co-authored “Deposit Tokens – a foundation for stable digital money”, “Shaping tomorrow’s digital asset landscape together – PZF 2023”, and “All Roads Lead to Rome: Blockchain’s scalability, interoperability, and privacy journey”.

Ugur has a PhD in Engineering from Princeton University, taught applied mathematics and engineering at Princeton and Koc Universities before coming to Oliver Wyman.
