Fatmah Baothman is a member of the Global Future Council on the Future of Artificial Intelligence by the World Economic Forum; she is a national technology strategist, AI advisor, and AI Business Development and innovation; she officially represented women in several important events the latest was in the UN  representing Saudi NGOs sector of the kingdom. A member of the G20-S20 Task Force and a  member of the working group of the G20 Digital Agenda. She is the first woman in the Middle East with a doctorate in Modern Artificial Intelligence, graduated in 2003 from the UK School of Computing and Engineering with the Alumni Roll of Honor, won four international prizes and awards plus many local trophies, and was listed among AI MENA experts by MIT Technology Review. She was classified among the AI Visionaries of the Arab world in 2023; she worked with Apple to enter the Saudi market. She founded the Computer Science Department at KAU for females, the Saudi Engineering Committee for Women, the main derive for establishing the Engineering colleges in the western region, and the IEEE Chapter for Women. Recently, she is the founder and the board president of the AI Society. She has held various administrative positions with several universities, supervised hundreds of students in technology &AI business projects, and has several quality AI publications and translations.
