JPQR Global
The JPQR Global enables interoperability between Japan’s JPQR and unified QR payment standards in countries around the world. Consumers from participating countries can simply use their familiar home-country payment apps to pay at participating merchants in Japan. Likewise, participating Japanese payment services can be used at merchants accepting the national QR payment standards of participating countries. JPQR Global already supports inbound payments from Cambodia through KHQR and from Indonesia through QRIS. Today marks another important milestone as a new country joins the JPQR Global network, further expanding the cross-border QR payment ecosystem and bringing Japan closer to a truly connected global payment network.
