The PolyFinTech100 API Hackathon is organised by PolyFinTech100, a pan-poly initiative comprising all five local polytechnics in Singapore, and supported by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), to develop and nurture fintech talent.

The five category champions will be pit against each other in this exciting Grand Finals to win the title of Grand Champion.

What does it take to transform from 0 to 1 start-up versus 1 to 100 scale-up? This fireside chat explores the leadership challenges of scaling a fintech—from navigating uncertainty and competitive pressures to evolving the product, culture and governance on the path to profitability & beyond. We’ll examine the complexities of international expansion while preserving a company's distinctive identity, and the human side of leadership: how different leadership styles can succeed, and how professional CEOs can build on a founder’s vision while charting their own course.

Whether you're a student starting out, a finance professional planning a career pivot, or a startup founder facing a specific business challenge, Pay It Forward connects you with established industry professionals for face-to-face, one-to-one mentorship. It's a chance to get advice from people who have already worked through the challenges you're facing. Sessions are 15 minutes long and take place at the Pay It Forward Lounge in Hall 3, from 18 to 20 November, 12.30pm to 4.30pm.
