Making Tokenized Assets Legally Enforceable Across Chains - Powered by Axelar

The curation of content and speakers was wholly managed by Axelar and does not reflect the views of the organisers or its staff.

Subtitle:

Bridging law, code and interoperability to build institutional trust in tokenized markets.

Description:

As institutions accelerate tokenization, legal enforceability has become the missing pillar for scale. This session shows how enforceable terms—ownership rights, transfer restrictions, compliance obligations—can “travel” with tokenized products that gain global distribution, aligning legal reality with technical execution. Participants will learn practical patterns to embed assent, governance and remedies into onchain workflows and see how technology can support issuance, servicing and compliant distribution for multi-chain products. Participants will engage one another in a practical workshop for designing strategies that legal, risk and product teams can adopt.

Key Themes:

\- Enforceability as the foundation for institutional tokenization

\- Legal interoperability that moves with the asset through diverse, onchain liquidity pools

\- Consent, governance and auditability built into transactions

\- DAMA 2 for issuance, servicing and distribution of compliant tokenized funds

\- Axelar as connectivity + attestation for enforceable, cross-chain products
