Dan Sleep

Dan Sleep is Head of Business Solutions & Advisory, APAC at Fireblocks, an enterprise platform for secure digital asset custody, settlement, trading operations, and stablecoin payments. Dan leads strategic consulting initiatives for financial institutions and enterprises, helping them design and implement transformative digital asset strategies, drive product innovation, and advance industry thought leadership.

With 19 years of banking experience, primarily within global derivatives, Dan most recently served as Senior Vice President of Northern Trust’s Digital Assets and Financial Markets team in the APAC region. He was responsible for assessing the impact of regulatory and market infrastructure change to Northern Trust’s operating model and identifying innovative operating structures. He also executed Northern Trust’s strategy in relation to FinTech developments, innovation initiatives (including blockchain, digital and crypto assets), as well as market access strategies.

Dan previously worked in multiple change management leadership roles with Northern Trust in the EMEA region before moving to Singapore in 2015 to establish the company’s Derivatives Practice in Asia. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Dan spent five years with J.P. Morgan in the United Kingdom.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Bournemouth University, is a PRINCE2 practitioner, and is a certified Business Analyst under the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
