Susanne Blazek is the Senior Manager of Thought Leadership & Outcomes Research in the Korn Ferry Institute, based out of the firm’s Oslo office.
Leading the Korn Ferry Institute’s global Thought Leadership and Research team, Mrs Blazek directs research and procures publications in partnership with solution and practice leaders. Anticipating future leadership trends, current research projects prod topics on the future of work: the meaning of work, what will drive performance in the future, and the talent supply chain of flexible organizations.
Mrs Blazek also conducts outcomes studies on the return on and value of Korn Ferry’s products and solutions, including leadership development, search engagements, and assessments.
Mrs Blazek supports every step of the Korn Ferry Institutes’ research and thought leadership projects, from designing and developing survey content to interviewing participants to data manipulation and analysis to writing up, publishing, and presenting findings. Among other ongoing projects, Mrs Blazek has been investigating the outcomes of simulation-based assessments for CEOs and senior-level executives since 2014.
Having an affinity for what drives personal and professional behaviour change, Mrs Blazek’s expertise includes simulations-based assessments, women in leadership, the future of work, and qualitative research methods.
Mrs Blazek obtained a doctorate’s degree in social psychology from the University of Minnesota. Her dissertation research consisted of a 3-year longitudinal multi-method program evaluation of a multicultural high school curriculum.
Mrs Blazek obtained a bachelor of science in psychology from the University of Florida. She has taught undergraduate and Continuing Education courses at the University of Minnesota. Mrs Blazek was born and raised in Norway.
