Moody’s Analytics formed the Emerging Business Unit (EBU) in 2016. The EBU leads Moody’s Analytics efforts to better understand and adapt to an environment characterized by widespread, technology-driven change. Moody’s Analytics focuses on three key domains to drive innovation efforts.
Identify, research and develop new business opportunities enabled by technological innovation. This includes the proactive assessment of new technologies, as well as the exploration of new business initiatives.
Develop a culture of innovation across the firm. Leverage internal expertise while providing opportunities for employees to innovate, including exposure to new technologies and facilitating collaboration across business units.
Build an external ecosystem made up of customers, startups and key market participants to inform and evolve Moody’s Analytics innovation strategy.
