Jeremy has been Chairman of KPMG’s Global Financial Services Practice since 2010, leading KPMG’s 40,000 professionals working with clients in financial services. This covers audit, tax and advisory services across banking, capital markets, asset management and insurance.
He advises clients across the globe on how to assess and respond to the changing landscape of Financial Services from regulatory change through to the impact of an increasingly data and digitally driven world. He regularly engages with regulators and policymakers on initiatives designed to improve financial stability, transparency and trust as well as the impact of innovation and Fintech.
Jeremy has spent 35 years working with the banking and insurance industry. He has advised in the areas of strategy, risk management, governance, IT, operational transformation, mergers, bank restructuring, regulation and finance. He has worked with clients across Europe, the United States and Asia Pacific.
Jeremy is a member of the Productivity Leadership Group in the UK, a past Commissioner of the UK Commission for Employment and Skills and a former Chairman of the UK National Employment Panel. He was awarded a CBE in 2005 for his services to employment.
